ATTENTION ACROSS THE BOARD

The Tagliabue method is not just a method for teaching boys to ski, but a 360 ° approach to boys and to children, as individuals and as a group.

It is a method that is attentive to the improvement of technique, to growth in sport and at the same time to socialization, personal safety and to the ability of children to believe in themselves.

The teachers are chosen based on the ability to teach but also to create involvement and to be an example.

FROM 3/4 YEARS

YOUNG
BEGINNERS

With a very young child, the goal is to reach the snowplough control within three to five days to be able to ski independently and start enjoying the beauty of sliding on the snow. As soon as a child controls the  snowplough he will have a lot more fun and get a lot less tired, and can start skiing in a minigroup consisting of a maximum of 3 or 4 students even two hours in the morning.

After a few lessons, he will begin to control the snowplough on more level stretches of track and then even on medium slopes.

In this phase it will acquire greater safety, greater speed, will start to make the curves and then move on to the next level, or close the tails in the diagonals to gradually get closer to skiing on parallel ski.

FROM 6/7 YEARS

A SEASONAL
PROGRAM

Children from 6 to 7 who want to learn to ski well must follow a seasonal program with a pre-established schedule, a reference coach and a group of friends who work throughout the season.

Together we follow a serious, gradual and continuous program, strong bonds are created between the children and between the children and their teacher.

Progress and results are evident.

BOYS AND TEENAGERS

YOUNG
AGONISTS

Many guys become passionate about agonism, but it take 2 or 3 seasons before the skiing out of the poles equals and becomes as effective in a special or giant slalom course.

Spring, summer and autumn months are used to adjust and improve the automatisms of young athletes to arrive at the end of autumn to devote themselves to the development of speed between poles, once the correct postures and movements are established.

Doing so at the beginning of winter you are ready to have fun in competitions and the guys discover the pleasure of having results in the face of the hardships endured.

ON THE SNOW WITH THE NEW GENERATION

BECOMING A “SPECIAL” INSTRUCTOR

Towards the end of high school or the beginning of the university the objectives and mentality of the boys change.

Becoming a ski instructor is a satisfaction, it is a fun and well paid job and makes more independent economically in the university years.

For those who want to become a teacher we hold preparatory courses to pass the Italian or Swiss training exams.

Not a few of our former students have become ski instructors and help us as collaborators.

They are "special" instructors because they share technical and demonstrative skills typical of the best former athletes, the ability to involve the students and the desire to represent an example for them.
